+ Hans and Genevieve talk, Le Passant - In which we learn Hans has been rerouting some food supplies to Le Passant, and in which he fails to fall for the feminine wiles and refuses to issue passes.

+ Hans , Genevieve, Stossel talk, Le Passant- Hans' uberboss, the Oberstgruppenführer Stossel shows up just in time to see Hans drinking and hanging at the cafe. Hans offers to help with the buerocratic mess, and is instructed to meet Stossel in his office the next day.

- Hans, Stossel , Headquarters - Hans is promoted by Stossel to the office of Sturmbannfuhrer .

+ Hans and Friedrich meet, Headquarters- Friederich comes in to file a report; Hans does not like him at first, but then warms enough to have a conversation.

+ Hans, Marie-Pierre, Gene , Le Passant - Hansierre meet! Marie-Pierre comes over to play chess, they share stories, exchange food, and make plans for an unusual tour of Paris.

- Hans, Friedrich, Stossel at a briefing, Headquarters - Stossel calls a briefing to discuss possible resistance activities at Le Passant.

+ Hans and Marie-Pierre tour Paris - Marie-Pierre takes Hans on an unsual tour of the city involving many sites that will become legend! Legend! There are pictures to prove it. Also here is where they become on a first name basis, and develop silly food based nicknames for each other.

+ Hans and Marie-Pierre meet unexpectedly, Headquarters - Hans meets Marie-Pierre in a bathroom at Headquarters, and finds out he is working with the Nazis. Marie-Pierre reveals the location of his secret apartment to Hans for further discussion to take place there. This is where they first speak of a private loyalty.

+ Hans and Marie-Pierre, the Duck Nest - Hans comes to Marie-Pierre's super secret apartment (later to be known as The Duck Nest) for the first time. Drinking, discussion of their lives. Hans expresses his desire to learn Occitan. They seal their oath of private loyaty with a kiss.

+ Hans, Marie-Pierre, Morgan , Le Passant (Part two here) - Hans meets Dr. Carre and escorts her to Le Passant. Marie-Pierre and Hans have a conversation about bathroom eupahmisims when the doctor heads to 'powder her nose', and make plans for a Nadal (Christmas) celebration together.

+ Hans and Marie Pierre, the Duck Nest - Hans comes over to fix the leaky coal stove, and stays the night with Marie-Pierre for the first time. He also brings over his grandmother's quilt for Marie-Pierre, photographs from the tour, and a wooden duck, singular.

- Hans and Gretchen, Hans' house - Hans runs into his sister Gretchen on the street, and finds out she has left home and has been in Paris almost a month

+ Hans, Marie-Pierre, Eric, Le Passant - Hans gets very drunk and plays chess with an American named Eric. Marie-Pierre comes , following a note Hans has sent through Stephane that asks him to meet Hans at Le Passant. Hansierre's second bathroom conversation - where Hans asks M-P to keep an eye on his sister, and tells him about the potential of a raid on Le Passant. Hans winds up also talking about the time he killed someone up-close-and-personal. Marie-Pierre escorts him out so he won't fall over drunkenly into a gutter and wake up in the Rue du Pissoir.

+ Hans and Marie-Pierre, Marie-Pierre's official residence - Marie-Pierre takes a drunken Hans to his home. Hans says he loves Marie-Pierre in German, but realizes that it was a mistake to say it out loud. Marie-Pierre shuts him up by kissing him. Breakfast toast burns!

+ Hans and Marie-Pierre, the streets of Paris / a hill outside the city / the Occitan bistro - Along with his promotion, Hans is given a Nazi!Cycle. He picks up Marie-Pierre, gives him some much needed cigarrettes, and they ride out of town to camp out on a hill for a while and watch the stars. They return to town and have dinner at the Occitan bistro where a musicala is going on. Marie-Pierre plays fiddle, and Hans talks about reading music and playing the piano. Marie-Pierre teaches Hans some Occitan pleasantries, and about the dangers of 'feminine lettuce'.

+ Hans, Stephane, Mirielle , the Occitan bistro - Hans visits the Occitan bistro to order a cake and to learn more about Nadal.

- Hans, Marie-Pierre, Genevieve , Le Passant - Hans and Marie-Pierre visit Le Passant to warn Gene about the upcoming raid and to try and get a feel for what is really going on.
